I love all of them! JUST KIDDING! I think that they are all pretty bad, some of them a lot worse than other. Seriously, imagine your kid walking into class being named Kingfisher. He would be forever teased! That is awful! The same goes for Katniss and Redvers.

The only acceptably nice one on that list is Millicent..at least it’s a legit name with great history and meaning. It’s a beautiful classic.
But the rest of those are completely ridiculous, makes me wonder how many High School drop outs there are now a days.

I don’t care for those names either. I can’t think of anyone who would like these names that I know. That’s crazy that it’s listed for the 2011 names. I don’t think I like any of them but I have heard of Millicent being used before and nick named “Milli” I’ve also heard of Winter but spelled Wynter. However, I am not interested in using those names.
Other crazy names I heard (I think you almost topped the crazy names that I ever heard lol):
1. Chase, Storm, Rage & Rayne (Siblings to a mental mother at work)
2. LaQuota
3. Barbie
4. Bambi
5. Lark
6. Prudence
7. Stone
8. Striker
9. Pilot Inspektor (this celeb baby name always bothered me)
10. Moon unit (this one too)
11. Lintina (sounds like lint)

I really doubt these are popular names, I mean how would they know these are “2011 baby names” if 2011 has just begun? But yes, they are all pretty ridiculous. Serius is the only one I would consider semi-acceptable.

Mars? If youre going to name your other kids Io and Europa
Millicent is a real name, but I dont like it anyway
Katniss- a name ive only seen in the book The Hunger Games
Ranger- Texas comma Walker
Redvers? I dont even know.
Serius- Black
Zodiac- Boy or girl? what?
Winter- Can be nice in some circumstances
The names I dont like are the made up ones, like Braylen, Braxton, Payton, Payden, Brayden, etc

God i hope your kidding. Katniss? That sounds like kitty food!!! Mars? That’s like naming a kid Venus! Zodiac sounds like an Alien! MEXICO!!!!????!!!!????!!!!????!!!!???? NEXT YEAR PEOPLE WILL BE NAMING THEIR KIDS AUSTRALIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The rest all suck too

The only one that I could even start to think about on that list is Winter, but it’s more of a guilty pleasure name for me. I like it, but I would never use it. I mean Millicent is an actual name and not an object or animal or tribe, but it’s so out dated that I really couldn’t bring myself to use it!

Yes, Someone of the names are “strange and odd”. But that is what makes them different, and that’s probably the motivation of the parents who name their children, these names.

Eh…Ranger is kind of cool as a middle name, but the others are really wacky.
I personally find Moxie Crimefighter and Pilot Inspektor to be completely off-the-wall crazy. Apple isn’t as bonkers, but it’s weird enough to make me think, “Really? You really feel okay with saddling your child with a name like that for life?!”

Well, Millicent isn’t my style but it’s not a bad name whatsoever.
Navajo isn’t that bad in my opinion, if it’s being named for the language or tribe. If people are just naming kids that for no legitimate reason aside from it being ‘yoo-neeq’ then not so much.
Some of those names though… Kingfisher? What?!

Some are ridiculous, but I quite like Millicent, it was quite popular in the 80’s too. I think Winter is cute.
